Lord, grant me the grace to imitate You in the greatness of forgiveness: Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do (Lk 23:34). May I know how to understand, excuse, and overlook the indelicate, unjust or offensive words or attitudes of others. In those difficult moments, may I follow the advice of St. Josemaría that Blessed Álvaro practiced admirably: «Pray, be silent, work, forgive, smile.»
