Day 8 — The Blood that purifies us

Reading

«These are they who have washed their robes and made them white in the Blood of the Lamb. Therefore they stand before the throne of God» (Revelation 7:14). Sin is a sad reality, but thanks to Christ we can be cleansed. God asks us for repentance, conversion, and reconciliation through the sacraments, and to fight bravely never to make peace with sin.

Prayer of the Day

Lord Jesus Christ, lover of sinners, pour upon me the abundance of the merits of your Blood, so that with a clean heart I may always see God in all things. Amen.

Opening Prayer (for all days)

Christ Jesus, Lamb of God, who has saved us by your Blood, we praise you, we bless you, we adore you, and we give you heartfelt thanks. By the merits of your Most Precious Blood, I ask for the salvation of all who have washed themselves in it. Grant me the special grace I desire in this novena, if it be for your greater glory and the good of my soul. Amen.
