Day 7 — The Blood that strengthens us

Reading

«I saw heaven open. The one called the Word of God was clothed with a robe dipped in blood» (Revelation 19:12-13). Jesus Christ appears as a triumphant warrior, soaked in his own blood. He has conquered. Heaven is not for cowards but for the valiant who, like Jesus, face each day the struggle against evil.

Prayer of the Day

Lord Jesus Christ, who told us that the Kingdom of Heaven is taken by force by the valiant, give me the strength I need to go with you to Calvary and from there ascend to Heaven. Amen.

Opening Prayer (for all days)

Christ Jesus, Lamb of God, who has saved us by your Blood, we praise you, we bless you, we adore you, and we give you heartfelt thanks. By the merits of your Most Precious Blood, I ask for the salvation of all who have washed themselves in it. Grant me the special grace I desire in this novena, if it be for your greater glory and the good of my soul. Amen.
