Day 9 — God's answer

Meditation

We come to the last day trusting that God answers in His time, not ours. Saint Expeditus always aids those who invoke him with faith, because his intercession hastens divine mercy for urgent causes. But God's answer is always greater than the petition: He grants what serves the soul's salvation and His greater glory.

Prayer of the Day

O glorious martyr Saint Expeditus, who always aid those who invoke you with faith, obtain for me the grace I so much need and have been asking throughout this novena. Through your intercession, may the Lord answer me promptly and grant what I so deeply desire, if it be for the good of my soul and the greater glory of God. Amen.

O Jesus Christ, protect us today and always, but especially today. O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you. Saint Expeditus, glorious martyr and patron of just and urgent causes, pray for us.
