Novena to Saint Cajetan
Day 2 of 9

Day 2 — A man of prayer

Reading

Despite his busy schedule, Saint Cajetan spent up to eight hours a day in prayer. His happiness lay in being united with Jesus and savoring his presence in the Eucharist. He teaches us that prayer is not only asking Jesus for our needs, but being with him, delighting in his presence.

Prayer of the Day

Saint Cajetan, man of prayer, teach us to give prayer first place in our lives. Help us to savor the presence of Jesus and to delight in his company. Amen.

Final Prayer (for all days)

O glorious Saint Cajetan, you who were a model of virtue among priests and who, trusting in divine Providence, gave the bread of your table to the needy, carry our petitions to Jesus. Obtain for us from the Lord the grace to use temporal goods in such a way that we may not lose the eternal goods of glory. Through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

(Our Father, Hail Mary, and Gloria).
