Day 9 — The triumph of the Immaculate Heart and consecration

Meditation

We come to the last day walking with Mary. To consecrate oneself to the Immaculate Heart is to surrender to Jesus through Mary: like her, to say "let it be done to me according to your word" and to let the Spirit form Christ in us. The Heart that will triumph in the end has called us to collaborate now, with an authentic life of grace, prayer, and reparation. "No souls will be lost that have recourse to you," the Virgin said to Sister Lucia; let us hasten to her, living as her children.

Prayer of the Day

Most Holy Immaculate Heart of Mary, I consecrate to you today this day, my life, my family, and my death. Take all that is mine and offer it to your Son, and grant me to live as your faithful child. And at the end of this novena, grant me the particular grace I have confidently asked of you, if it be pleasing to God. Amen.

Prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary (for all days)

O Mary, worthy Mother of God and tender Mother of ours, who appearing at Fatima have shown us in your Heart a most sure refuge and in your Rosary a victorious weapon against the enemy of our souls, grant that loving you with filial love I may here find and enjoy the life of grace, and afterward the life of glory. O sweet Heart of Mary, be my salvation.
