Extending her love towards the Carmelites even after death, Our Lady of Carmel, as the most loving Mother of those who wear her Scapular, comforts their souls in Purgatory and by her prayers obtains their speedy release to enjoy God in glory.

Prayer of the Day

O Virgin of Carmel! I beg you, Lady, to obtain for me from God that I may fulfill my Christian obligations and the devotion of the holy Scapular, so that I may obtain this most singular favor and enjoy your company in heaven for all eternity. Amen.

Most Holy Virgin of Carmel, I desire that all may take shelter under the protecting shadow of your holy Scapular. O beauty of Carmel! Look upon us kneeling before your sacred image and grant us your loving protection. I commend to you the needs of the Pope, the Church, my nation, and the whole world. Look with compassion upon sinners, heretics, and unbelievers. May all be converted and love you, my Mother, as I wish to love you now and for all eternity. Amen.
