After the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe, millions of indigenous people were converted to the Christian faith within a few years. The Virgin was the great evangelizer of the Americas, carrying the message of Christ with love and maternal tenderness to an entire continent.

Virgin of Guadalupe, evangelizer of the Americas, renew the faith in our continent. May your image and your message continue to draw hearts to your Son Jesus. Amen.

O Immaculate Virgin of Guadalupe, Mother of the true God and our Mother, you who showed your clemency and compassion to all who come to you, hear the supplications we offer you in this novena. As you imprinted your image on the tilma of Juan Diego, imprint your love on our hearts. Cover us with your maternal mantle and lead us always to your Son Jesus. Amen.
