Novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe
Day 2 of 9

Day 2 — Am I not here, who am your mother?

Reading

Our Lady of Guadalupe said to Juan Diego: "Am I not here, who am your mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not the fountain of your joy? Are you not in the fold of my mantle, in the crossing of my arms?" These words are for each one of us.

Prayer of the Day

Mother of Guadalupe, you assure me that you are with me and that I am your child. In your arms I take refuge, under your mantle I find shelter. Do not leave me alone in my needs. Amen.

Final Prayer (for all days)

O Immaculate Virgin of Guadalupe, Mother of the true God and our Mother, you who showed your clemency and compassion to all who come to you, hear the supplications we offer you in this novena. As you imprinted your image on the tilma of Juan Diego, imprint your love on our hearts. Cover us with your maternal mantle and lead us always to your Son Jesus. Amen.

(Our Father, Hail Mary, and Gloria).
