Petition

Lord, grant me the sincerity to recognize that many of my anxieties come from my self-love, from excessive concern about what others think of me, from my pride.

Grant me, my God, the grace of humility, for without it «there is no charity nor any other virtue, and therefore it is impossible to have true Christian life» (Blessed Álvaro). May I think less of myself and care more for others, happy to be able to help and serve them.
