Peace through Prayer

«Filled with love for the Holy Spirit, constantly immersed in prayer, strengthened by the Eucharist and a tender devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary», he could say that «everything is good, because our God is good. Therefore, joy, always!»

He instilled «trust, security, peace. This was not due to a mere human condition, but was a consequence of his profound interior life and supernatural sense.»

Petition

Grant me, Lord, through the intercession of Blessed Álvaro, the grace to be a «soul of prayer», who knows how to confidently speak with God about all things, at all hours.

Help me to follow the advice of St. Paul: Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Phil 4:6-7).
