Day 2 — Saint Rita, faithful wife

Despite her husband's violent character, Rita was always a faithful and loving wife. Through her prayer and example she obtained his conversion before he died. Her perseverance in love is a witness to the transforming power of prayer.

Saint Rita, faithful wife, intercede for all marriages in difficulty. May prayer and love transform broken relationships and restore peace to homes. Amen.

Final Prayer (for all days)

O glorious Saint Rita, who knew how to accept in love the hardest trials of life and who always found in God the strength to go forward, intercede for me before the Lord. You who are the advocate of impossible causes, present my cause before the throne of God and obtain for me the grace I ask, if it be in conformity with the divine will. May your example of faith, patience, and forgiveness inspire me to live as a true Christian. Amen.
