Day 3 — The Blood that gives victory

Reading

«They conquered the dragon by the Blood of the Lamb» (Revelation 12:11). My Christian life is a struggle: against pain, weariness, temptation, and sin. But I hold in my hands the strength of Christ himself. He fought Satan to the point of blood, and by his Blood he gives us victory.

Prayer of the Day

O God, who in the Blood of Jesus, poured out bravely and generously on the cross, gives us strength against all enemies, grant that through it I may remain always faithful to you. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Opening Prayer (for all days)

Christ Jesus, Lamb of God, who has saved us by your Blood, we praise you, we bless you, we adore you, and we give you heartfelt thanks. By the merits of your Most Precious Blood, I ask for the salvation of all who have washed themselves in it. Grant me the special grace I desire in this novena, if it be for your greater glory and the good of my soul. Amen.
