Day 6 — Guide of souls

Reading

"When the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, disputed about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a reviling judgment, but said, 'The Lord rebuke you'" (Jude 1:9). Saint Michael accompanies souls at their passage to eternal life, commending them to divine mercy.

Prayer of the Day

Saint Michael the Archangel, guide of souls at their passage to eternal life, be with me at the hour of my death. Bear my prayers to God and defend me from the enemy at the decisive moment. Amen.

Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel (for all days)

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the malice and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.
