Day 2 — Saint Jude, patron of the impossible

Saint Jude Thaddeus is invoked as patron of impossible causes because his intercession has been proven countless times. When all seems lost and there is no human hope, Saint Jude reminds us that for God nothing is impossible.

Prayer of the Day

Saint Jude Thaddeus, patron of impossible causes, I bring before you my need. Nothing is impossible for God. Obtain for me the grace I so greatly need. Amen.

O glorious apostle Saint Jude Thaddeus, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you as patron of difficult and desperate cases. Pray for me, who am so miserable. I beg you, make use of that special privilege granted to you to bring visible and speedy help when almost all hope is lost. Come to my aid in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and help of heaven in all my tribulations and anguish. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
