Day 6 — Saint Joseph, model of workers

Saint Joseph was a humble carpenter who sanctified work by his dedication and love. The Church has proclaimed him patron of workers. His example teaches us that every honest work, done with love and offered to God, has a redemptive value.

Prayer of the Day

Saint Joseph the worker, sanctify my daily work. May I, like you, work with honesty and dedication, offering every effort to God for the salvation of the world. Amen.

Glorious patriarch Saint Joseph, whose power reaches what is impossible to men, come to my aid in these moments of anguish and difficulty. Take under your protection the grave and difficult situations I entrust to you, that they may have a happy solution. My beloved Father, all my confidence is placed in you. Let it never be said that I have invoked you in vain. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
