Day 9 — The Child Jesus in your arms

Saint Cajetan received many special blessings from Jesus: visions and mystical experiences through his union with him. While contemplating the mystery of the Incarnation, Mary appeared to him and laid the Child Jesus in his lap. He clasped the Child and made his heart a dwelling for him. Jesus truly loved him, and his Mother trusted him. May he now in heaven be closer to Jesus, who hears him.

Prayer of the Day

Glorious Saint Cajetan, to whom the Virgin entrusted the Child Jesus, hear our petitions on this last day of the novena and carry them to Jesus. Show us that in heaven you are close to him and that he hears you. Amen.

Final Prayer (for all days)

O glorious Saint Cajetan, you who were a model of virtue among priests and who, trusting in divine Providence, gave the bread of your table to the needy, carry our petitions to Jesus. Obtain for us from the Lord the grace to use temporal goods in such a way that we may not lose the eternal goods of glory. Through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
