Since his death, the unemployed of the world have sought Saint Cajetan's intercession. Work is the key to a happy life. He, who established a bank for the needy, inspired leaders to extend loans to the poor so they could provide for their families' needs with dignity.

Prayer of the Day

Saint Cajetan, patron of work, intercede for those seeking employment and for their families. Help rulers to create policies that generate dignified work for all. Amen.

O glorious Saint Cajetan, you who were a model of virtue among priests and who, trusting in divine Providence, gave the bread of your table to the needy, carry our petitions to Jesus. Obtain for us from the Lord the grace to use temporal goods in such a way that we may not lose the eternal goods of glory. Through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
