Day 6 — The Rosary, the victorious weapon

Meditation

At every apparition of Fatima the Virgin asked: "Pray the Rosary every day." In Mary's Heart, the Rosary is the prayer that repeats the angel's "Hail Mary" and meditates on the mysteries of Christ beside the Mother. The Virgin called it "a victorious weapon against the enemy of our souls": it is not a superstitious formula, but a chain of roses uniting us to the Heart of Jesus through Mary's hands.

Prayer of the Day

Immaculate Heart of Mary, teacher of the Rosary, accept my daily recitation of the holy Rosary as an act of filial love. With each Hail Mary, grant that many souls may be converted and lifted from sin. Win for me through the Rosary the grace of peace. Amen.

Prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary (for all days)

O Mary, worthy Mother of God and tender Mother of ours, who appearing at Fatima have shown us in your Heart a most sure refuge and in your Rosary a victorious weapon against the enemy of our souls, grant that loving you with filial love I may here find and enjoy the life of grace, and afterward the life of glory. O sweet Heart of Mary, be my salvation.
