Saint Raphael is called the "comforter of the afflicted" and the "joy of the sorrowful." He accompanied Tobias in moments of uncertainty, consoled Sarah in her anguish, and brought hope to Tobit's family. He can bring peace to your heart in the midst of trials and comfort in your sorrows.

Prayer of the Day

Saint Raphael, comforter of the afflicted, bring peace to my heart and strength in the midst of my trials. Be my company in sadness and my hope in affliction. Amen.

Saint Raphael, one of the seven glorious spirits who stand before the throne of him who lives and reigns, Angel of healing, the Lord has filled your hand with balm from heaven to soothe and cure our pains. Heal those afflicted by illness and guide our steps when we doubt our way. Amen.
