Day 4 — Encountering a spouse

Saint Raphael not only accompanied Tobias on his journey but also guided him to Sarah, the woman God had prepared for him. He protected their marriage from the demon and taught the couple to pray together before consummating their union. Saint Raphael is patron of happy encounters and of those seeking a husband or wife.

O Raphael, Angel of happy encounters, guide us toward those who await us and help us build a home conformed to the heart of God. Amen.

Saint Raphael, one of the seven glorious spirits who stand before the throne of him who lives and reigns, Angel of healing, the Lord has filled your hand with balm from heaven to soothe and cure our pains. Heal those afflicted by illness and guide our steps when we doubt our way. Amen.
