Day 1 — Invocation to the Angel of healing

Saint Raphael, whose name means "Medicine of God," is one of the three archangels mentioned in Sacred Scripture. He appears in the book of Tobit as companion of the young Tobias, healing the blindness of his father Tobit and freeing Sarah from the demon. He is patron of travelers, the sick, physicians, and those seeking a spouse.

Prayer of the Day

Glorious Archangel Saint Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are guide of those who travel by land, sea, or air, comforter of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners. Because you are the medicine of God, heal the ailments of my soul and the evils that afflict my body. Amen.

Final Prayer (for all days)

Saint Raphael, one of the seven glorious spirits who stand before the throne of him who lives and reigns, Angel of healing, the Lord has filled your hand with balm from heaven to soothe and cure our pains. Heal those afflicted by illness and guide our steps when we doubt our way. Amen.
